Dr. Elizabeth Jansen, DNP, AGPCNP-BC, OCN is a board certified nurse pracitioner at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. She has worked at MSKCC for twelve years and has a varied background in adult oncology care as a clinical nurse and nurse pracitioner with with experience in Lymphoma, Myeloma, Bone Marrow Transplant, breast medical oncology and most recently thoracic medical oncology.
Elizabeth’s scholarship focuses on clinician wellness, engagement and promoting professional quality of life. She also has interests in promoting quality of life for patients with advanced cancer. As part of her doctoral project, she developed a comprehensive compassion fatigue support program with a
multi-targeted evidenced based strategies. This program was delivered to acute care oncology nurses and advanced practice providers and resulted in statistically significant improvements in compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction, with increased engagement in employer provided tools.
