Gayle A. Kempinski, DNP, MSN, APNP, ANP-BC, OCN is a doctorally prepared board-certified advanced practice nurse practitioner with nearly 19 years of medical oncology and hematology nursing experience, including blood and bone marrow transplantation, and she holds an oncology nurse certification through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC).
Dr. Kempinski received an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI in 2004. She received a Master of Science in Nursing – Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2012 from Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI, and she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2021 through a joint program offered by Edinboro and Clarion Universities in Pennsylvania. The aim of Dr. Kempinski's DNP research project was to evaluate the difference in patient satisfaction scores between LGBTQIA+ individuals who receive healthcare from LGBTQIA+ inclusion clinics and LGBTQIA+ individuals who receive healthcare from traditional clinics. Dr. Kempinski also holds a Master of Business Administration – Management from Concordia University in Mequon, WI and a Bachelor of Arts Business Administration – Marketing from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI, completed in 1998 and 1993 respectively.
Dr. Kempinski is currently employed as Director, Oncology Nurse Educators at Epizyme, an Ipsen Company, based in Cambridge, MA. She is an experienced national nursing leader with nearly 10 years in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry, and has held roles in nursing leadership, nursing education, and sales. Dr. Kempinski is also certified in medical aesthetics and is the owner of CheekyChicCosmetics, LLC.
