Samantha Thompson, MPH, MCHS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her primary clinical focus is neuro-oncology.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wittenberg University. She completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Saint Louis University. She then earned a Master of Clinical Health Services from the University of Washington. Samantha practiced in neurology for several years before gaining specialized training in oncology by completing an APP Oncology Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society for Neuro-Oncology, Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology, and Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
