Sarah Hanson is a Medical Director in Prostate Cancer at Pfizer. She was born and raised in The Netherlands and studied medicine at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. She has always had a keen interest in the biologics of oncology and obtained her PhD in the treatment of advanced melanoma at the University of Groningen, with a visiting scholarship in translational science at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, where she still resides. Sarah joined Pfizer Oncology in 2016 and has worked on the breast cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer and hematology portfolios since then. She subsequently pursued her Executive MBA at the University of South Florida. In addition to multiple abstracts at national and international meetings, Sarah has published 16 peer-reviewed manuscripts and is committed to Pfizer Oncology’s goal to discover, investigate, and develop transformative therapies that improve the outlook for cancer patients worldwide.
