Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Linda D’Andrea, MSN, RN, PPCNP-BC, CPHON, is a pediatric nurse practitioner on the Neuroblastoma Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is a graduate and Hillman Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania (PENN) School of Nursing where she received her BSN in 1996 and her MSN in 1999 from their Pediatric Acute/Chronic Advanced Practice Nurse Program. She began her nursing career in 1996 at NY Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center in the PICU, where she served as staff nurse, senior staff nurse, assistance nurse manager, and clinical nurse specialist for all pediatrics programs, earning the institution’s Excellence in Nursing Award. Since joining Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2004, Linda has been active in many service, departmental and hospital wide initiatives. She co-chairs the Pediatric Education Committee, is ex officio of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Professional Development Council, and was a member of MSK’s inaugural NP Council, for which she served as co-chair and chair. Linda also is the course coordinator and planning committee member of several APP driven MSK CME programs and the co-site coordinator of MSK's pediatric APP fellowship. In addition to her work at MSK, Linda was the clinical coordinator for the Hillman Scholars Program at PENN from 2000 - 2014 and the Director of the Hillman Alumni Nursing Network from 2000 – 2017. She was recognized for her contributions to the program in 2017, with the PENN School of Nursing’s Alumni Spirit Award. She has also written several chapters on neuroblastoma, is a content reviewer for the Association of Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurses, has worked extensively with the Ronald McDonald House, coordinating and providing pediatric oncology educational programming for staff, volunteers, and donors, and lectures at Columbia University in the Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner Program as well as at local and national conferences.
