Senior Program Director
The Healing NET Foundation
Margaret Bean, M.Ed., has served since 2017 as Senior Program Director at the Healing NET Foundation, whose mission is to optimize care for people with neuroendocrine cancer through education and collaboration. In this role, she has coordinated two new patient publications, helped develop online continuing medical education programs, and served on the teams that organized several Healing NET Summits to bring medical experts, patient leaders, and other stakeholders together to identify and address unmet needs. Margaret earned her Master of Education in Nonprofit Leadership in 2015 and has a track record of strengthening the financial management and strategic direction of several nonprofit organizations. Margaret spent sixteen years in independent schools in teaching and administration, including three years as co-head of school.
