Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation
Amelia Wagenknecht is a Clinical Research Specialist, Masters candidate, and Research Advocate. In 2018, Amelia’s father was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, passing away four months later. She found the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation in April 2020 and began volunteering. Amelia loves working in the research and advocacy fields and strives to positively impact patients and their families during some of their most stressful times. She has worked on numerous clinical trials in clinical and academic settings. Amelia is currently working with the Cancer Control Mind & Body Lab at UMB-Baltimore, conducting research focusing on exercise and nutrition interventions for patients impacted by cancer.
