Senior Associate
Kauffman Hall
My name is Samantha Pear, MPH, and I have been volunteering with The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation as a Research Advocate and Biostatistics Intern since June of 2021. I completed by my Bachelor of Science in Public Health Delivery and Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Applied Epidemiology for the University of Arizona. Outside of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation I have worked with the CDC Foundation in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Health Services on the Emergency Response Team for COVID-19 Case Investigation, and now serving as a Senior Associate at Kaufman Hall working in hospitals nationwide to reduce patient length of stay and improve overall patient throughput while maintaining high rates of patient satisfaction and low readmission rates as well as low rates of infection. I look forward to continuing to conduct research with The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation and share our findings with patients, caregivers, and all individuals to prevent rare cancer.
