Daniel Liu is a fourth year medical student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health interested in orthopedic surgery. His research is focused on optimizing surgical outcome through the opportunistic use of pre-operative imaging to screen for osteoporosis. He also has interest in exploring changes that can be made in surgical techniques and post operative management to improve outcome, including the intersection of orthopedic surgery with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. Daniel received his undergraduate degree in neuroscience and finance at Vanderbilt University.
