The cybersecurity and privacy industry (so called “digital trust industry”) has recognized the issue of longstanding human resources shortage (especially, the lack of women. One of the reasons is that potential applicants such as students or job-seekers are not familiar with the industry and have less interest in working in it because this industry has a shorter history than others and know few , if any, professionals in the field.
In order to visualize working professionals, especially women, in the digital trust industry, we researched 300 cybersecurity / privacy professionals in Japan. We'll report benchmarks such as job description, professional qualifications, definition of activities and career path intentions.
