Environmental manager with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. Having 20 years of industry experience and bring practical management and technical skills to the civil construction industry. I began my career as a Carpenter and my passion for the environment me led me to take on a series of professional environmental qualifications.. I have since acquired a detailed understanding of environmental management and the application of innovative and traditional tools, systems and processes on major civil capital works. My niche lies with incorporating the environmental requirements including best practice ESC and practical sustainable construction
I enjoy leading teams and opportunities that encourage sustainable outcomes, innovations and best practice ESC. I believe it is important to build and maintain a strong environmental culture through proactive environmental engagement and leadership. Having a strong passion for environmental stewardship and awareness, initiatives and collaborations with my current project have improved on innovative erosion and sediment control practices, sustainability and resource recovery initiatives. These have been nationally recognised by the civil construction industry within the IECA and ISC frameworks. I am experienced with multidisciplinary teams and complex major infrastructure projects. My strengths are working closely with the project teams, managing stakeholders, government bodies and client representatives to implement sustainable and practical environmental solutions for my projects. These are achieved through strong industry network contacts and facilitating collaborative projects incorporating government, private and community partnerships.
