Beth Powell is the president of New Pig Energy, which has been awarded six Environmental Protection new-product-of-the-year awards for oil and gas spill control. She has 27 years of experience in chemicals and plastics manufacturing and has been granted thirteen patents. Beth has an MBA and a BS in chemical engineering from Pennsylvania State University, where she received the University’s Scholars Medal. She volunteers as a board member of the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association, vice-chair of the Marcellus Shale Coalition Safety Committee, and a director-at-large for PA STEPS. She has served as vice-chair of the Marcellus Shale Coalition Supply Chain Committee and a director-at-large for the Appalachia Women's Energy Network.
