Greg Beckius, PE Services, is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC #8296) with over ten years specialty experience in environmental compliance working on NPDES compliance for MS4, construction, and industrial activities. Greg is focused on implementing best management practices into the construction and urban environment and using innovative design skills and programs. Greg is extremely knowledgeable about the NPDES permit program as well as appropriate BMPs for construction projects.
He has experience acting as the Environmental Compliance Manager on various transportation projects ranging in a variety of scales, including the TH53 Realignment Project (Virginia, MN) & currently the I35W North MnPASS Project (Blaine, MN). He was the lead for the development of the Environmental Compliance Quality Plan & Environmental Management Plan template that is now being utilized on many public projects within Minnesota. Greg also specializes in assisting many public and private clients submit NPDES Permit applications, preparing and implementing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and developing and designing construction SWPPPs for compliance with the NPDES construction general permit.
Greg has delivered numerous presentations on proper management practices and installation techniques along with full day programs on erosion and sediment control practices and numerous product specific presentations. He has spoken and presented materials at multiple government agencies and Departments of Transportation. Greghas made it his goal to educate and inform the public and private sector markets regarding stormwater compliance. These principals, whether during or after construction, highlight proper installation techniques and appropriate design standards as well as potential pitfalls of improper field applications.
