Mr. Kurt Kelsey is employed by American Excelsior Company - Earth Science Division - Arlington, TX, as the Division Director. Mr. Kelsey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Water Resources with an emphasis in Watershed Science and a minor in Soil Science from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and a Masters of Science in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Soil and Water Science from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. Mr. Kelsey is CPESC and CPSWQ certified. He has worked on numerous erosion and sediment control projects and has authored and co-authored a plethora of papers and articles related to the field. He is an active member of ASTM where he serves on the D18 Executive Committee as the Second Vice Chair and he is Chairman of the D18.25 Committee on Erosion and Sediment Control Technology. Mr. Kelsey has been active with the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) in various ways through the years. Mr. Kelsey is the industry liaison to the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program (NTPEP) Technical Committee on Erosion Control Products and Sediment Retention Devices.
