Lauren Deem, M.Sc is a Technical Services Associate with Profile Products. She received a B.S. in Environmental Science from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA with a minor in Environmental Writing. The focus of her senior thesis was carbon cycling in forest soils. She received a M.S. from the University of Hawaiʿi at Mānoa in Natural Resources and Environmental Management and her thesis focused on the use of biochar in agricultural soils. She then spent four years working in an agricultural soil laboratory in Washington as a soil scientist. Lauren then switched focus from agriculture to erosion control and accepted a position with Profile Products in early 2021.
