Dr. Eli Rosenberg is Deputy Director for Science in the Office of Public Health at the New York State Department of Health. An infectious disease epidemiologist by background, specializing in HIV/STI, viral hepatitis, COVID-19 and other emerging infectious diseases, he oversees special epidemiologic and data activities at the Office of Public Health. He currently is incident manager for the New York State polio response. Dr. Rosenberg is also an associate professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University at Albany School of Public Health, State University of New York.
