My name is Michael Lum and I am currently a first year Infectious Diseases fellow at Stony Brook University Hospital, which is located in Long Island, New York. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology from Siena College and then I attended Albany Medical College for medical school. Having lived and trained in the Northeast, my research interests are in tick borne illness. I hope to continue to study babesiosis in the future and continue to contribute to the literature involving this unique pathogen.
