Li Tao, MD, MS, PhD, is a Director of Real-World Evidence at Gilead Sciences. Prior to joining Gilead, Dr. Tao was at Cancer Prevention Institute of California, where she conducted research studies on cancer surveillance and health disparity. At Gilead, she directed post-marketing and real-world studies on PrEP and respond to epidemiological requests. Dr. Tao’s research interest is to evaluate real-world PrEP efficacy, safety, adherence, persistence, and utilization patterns using different data sources such as observational studies and real-world data.
