Philana Liang has a MPH from University of Michigan and a MSHS from George Washington University, where she became a PA as a National Health Service Corps Scholar. She began her PA career at the Baltimore City Health Department’s STI Clinic and Johns Hopkins. In 2012, she joined the Infectious Disease Clinic at Washington University in St. Louis. She is now also the Core Program Manager for the St. Louis STI/HIV Prevention Training Center. Her passions include Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (including PEP to PrEP), care of sexual assault survivors, human trafficking, and hepatitis C elimination especially among PWID.
