Navaneeth (Nav) Narayanan, PharmD, MPH, BCIDP is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at the Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. He jointly practices as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist and Antimicrobial Stewardship Co-Director at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Adjunct Faculty/Medical Consultant for the Global Tuberculosis Institute at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, a CDC-funded TB Center of Excellence. Dr. Narayanan also serves as an Advisor for the CLSI Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) Subcommittee and is a voting member of the CLSI AST Breakpoint Working Group.
Dr. Narayanan received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, completed two years of clinical residency training including his PGY2 Infectious Diseases Specialty Residency and Global Health Clinical Scholar Program training at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He earned his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from the Rutgers University School of Public Health. He is also a Board Certified Infectious Diseases Pharmacist (BCIDP).
