Isabel Helena Gonzalez-Bocco, Medical Doctor from Caracas, Venezuela. Currently working as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Transplant Infectious Diseases Department of Brigham and Women's Hospital / Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. As a researcher, I have focused on the immunocompromised population, working in different clinical trials in the areas of treatments for Cytomegalovirus; immune reconstitution after HCST on high-risk BK virus patients; COVID-19 monoclonal antibodies for treatment, and prophylaxis; and new therapeutics for invasive fungal infections. While I continue to explore my research interests and gain formal training in the area by pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology.
