I am a fourth year PhD candidate in Epidemiology and Human Genetics at the University of Maryland. My PhD thesis is "Healthcare Epidemiology of Emerging Infectious Diseases". My areas of interest include innovative measures to improve environmental cleaning to reduce transmission of infectious pathogens and thus reduce HAIs in health care settings. I am also intrested in big data analysis of administrative data, especially related to COVID-19 to gain bettter knowledge of various risk factors associated with emerging infectious diseases.
