Dr. Arangassery Rosemary Bastian is currently the Biomarker Lead for the RSV Vx program in Janssen. She is responsible for the immune parameters that are measured in clinical vaccine trials in addition to driving go/no go discussions that support the next phase of clinical development for the RSV vaccine program.
After a PhD in HIV prevention and PreP candidate development as a biomedical engineer, she did her postdoctoral fellowship in mucosal antibody function and antibody kinetics associated with HIV entry and infection. Later, she transitioned into the role of Biomarker lead, responsible for the immunological strategy for RSV vaccine candidates in development.
