Dr. Zembles earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Drake University in Iowa. She is board certified in Pharmacotherapy and Infectious Diseases. She is a founding member of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Children’s Wisconsin. Dr. Zembles’ clinical interests include implementation of handshake stewardship, evaluation of extended infusion beta lactams in pediatrics, and penicillin allergy de-labeling. Dr. Zembles is active in many professional organizations. She serves as Vice-Chair on the Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists Guidelines Committee and as a member of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society’s Committee on Antimicrobial Stewardship. When not working, Dr. Zembles enjoys spending time with her son, running, and attending Milwaukee Bucks games.
