Assistant Professor
Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania
Philadelphia, PA, United States
I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and a physician (neonatologist) scientist with a long-standing interest in lung health. I set up my own lab at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. The two areas of investigation in my lab are: (1) Investigation into the circadian regulation of lung injury and repair/regeneration, using a wide array of tissue specific conditional and constitutive circadian models and state-of-the-art tools in lung regenerative biology. We also use epidemiological resources such as from the UK biobank to generate translationally relevant hypotheses. (2) effect of early life exposures on the development (or maldevelopment) and function of pulmonary circadian networks in adulthood.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
