Dr. Helen Stankiewicz Karita is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. Dr. Stankiewicz Karita received her Medical Diploma at the Universidad del Nordeste in Argentina. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago, followed by an Infectious Disease Fellowship and Master of Science in Epidemiology at the University of Washington. Her clinical and research interests relate to primary and secondary prevention of HPV-related cancers and clinical trials of vaccines and therapeutics. Dr. Stankiewicz Karita is also engaged in efforts to increase diversity in clinical trials.
