The stewardship program that she created at Astria Sunnyside Hospital is nationally recognized, having been featured on the CDC/HRSA webinar titled “Enhancing Antibiotic Stewardship Programs in Critical Access Hospitals” in November 2021 and in the February 2022 edition of the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MBQIP) publication. She is passionate about protecting patients and communities from the unwanted consequences of antimicrobial use
