Dr. Tirupathi is the medical director of keystone infectious diseases/HIV in Chambersburg PA and is currently chair of infection prevention at Wellspan Chambersburg and Waynesboro Hospitals, Pennsylvania. He also has a teaching appointment as clinical assistant professor at Penn state college of medicine. He is the clinical lead at Cure Drug Repurposing collaboratory( FDA/NIH/NCATS initiative). He completed his ID fellowship from cooper university hospital UMDNJ in 2012. His interests include hospital acquired C Difficile, anti microbial stewardship, Infection Prevention, telemedicine, antimicrobial drug repurposing and COVID-19.
