Dr. Latania Logan is a Professor of Pediatrics, Associate Division Chief, and Marcus Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Logan’s research focuses on the clinical and molecular epidemiology of pediatric infections and infections in healthy populations due to multi-drug resistant Gram-negative bacteria, and this work has been supported by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Dr. Logan is a member of the NIH-funded Antibacterial Resistance Leadership Group (ARLG), serving on both the Gram-Negative and Pediatric Committees. She is a member of the CDC Epicenters Consortium and the Chicago Prevention and Intervention Epicenter (C-PIE). She currently serves on the SHEA Board of Trustees, the SHEA Pediatric Leadership Council Steering Committee, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America Antimicrobial Resistance Committee.
