As Senior Manager, Health Economics and Outcomes Research(HEOR) at Karius, Matt is responsible for value evidence generation by designing and implementing a wide variety of real-world evidence studies. Before joining Karius, Matt served as a health economics and outcomes research consultant at IQVIA. Matt has also practiced as a critical care pharmacist for over ten years, allowing research opportunities across a wide range of therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular disease, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, and urology.
Matt earned a Pharm.D. from the University of Mississippi and a Ph.D. in Health Outcomes and Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed pharmacist and currently practices at a community hospital in Central Texas.
