Morgan Bixby (@MLBixby) is a 4th year PhD student/candidate at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in the Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology program. She received Bachelor of Science degrees (2018) in genetics and microbiology from Iowa State University. Morgan is a part of Dr. Elizabeth Hirsch’s research program which studies the detection and treatment of multidrug-resistant gram-negative infections. In addition to her graduate studies and research, Morgan is a national leader in Alpha Sigma Kappa - Women in Technical Studies an organization whose purpose is to promote friendship and academic achievement for collegiate women and non-binary individuals in STEM.
