Dr. Villacorta Cari earned an MD from The Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) in Lima, Peru. She completed Internal Medicine residency at the Hospital Nacional Daniel A. carrion in Callao, Peru from UNMSM and an ID fellowship and a HIV fellowship at University of Kentucky as we HIV/AIDS fellowship at the University of Kentucky. Currently, I’m a faculty member in the Infectious Diseases Division at the University of Kentucky.
