Shelley Kon, MD is the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Antibiotic Stewardship at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Hospital. She is an Assistant Professor, University of Colorado School of Medicine. She attended medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She completed a residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. where she served as chief resident. She completed a fellowship in Infectious Disease at the University of Colorado including a 3rd year as an advance research fellow. She was honored to be a “Top Doc” in Denver's 5280 magazine. She has a passion for quality improvement, prevention of hospital aquired infections and antibiotic stewardship. When she's not at work she enjoys spending time with her two sons and hiking in the Colorado mountains.
