I am Nicholas Hathaway, MD/Ph.D. and I am currently an internal medicine resident at Umass Chan Medical School. My primary research interests are molecular epidemiology and global health with a focus on malaria. My training was focused on bioinformatics and the development of novel software to analyze next-generation sequencing (NGS) data from pathogens to trace strains across time and place.
