Tsung-Chi Lien, M.S., Pharm.D., BCPS is a neonatal and pediatric clinical pharmacist at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno, California. Dr. Lien received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan. He earned his Master of Science degree in Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Iowa in 2004 and 2008. He completed a Pharmacy Residency with a focus in critical care at CRMC.
For more than 10 years, Dr. Lien is involved in implementation and enhancement of various clinical activities including medication therapy management for neonatal and pediatric patients in intensive care units, develop and optimize neonatal and pediatric order sets, policies and clinical pathways, update neonatal and pediatric smart pump libraries, and provide in services to other healthcare professionals. He also actively participates in multiple research projects and poster presentations. Dr. Lien serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students from University of California San Francisco School of Pharmacy, University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy. He also serves as a preceptor for local high school students in the Doctor’s Academy Program. Dr. Lien was awarded the University of California San Francisco Apple for Excellence in Teaching Award for the Fresno Pharmacy site in 2014.
