I am currently employed in the Infectious Diseases Referral and Training Centre at Christian Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.
I am involved in clinical care of the patients, teaching of under-graduate and post-graduate students and in research activities of our institution.
My special interest lies in the field of Global Health and Travel Medicine, tropical diseases and vaccination among the adults. Other fields where I like to work is HIV Medicine and Antibiotic Stewardship and Hospital Infection Prevention. Being the chair of the Vaccination Sub- Committee of Clinical Infectious Diseases Society of India, I am involved in conducting workshops and CMEs for updating my colleagues in the field of Vaccination.
I am an Executive Editor of Elsevier Point of Care (India) – Infectious Diseases and peer reviewer of a few Journals.
I am a convener and faculty of a number of teaching programs. I conduct a distant learning Fellowship program in General Infectious Diseases. Teaching is another field that interests me and I am faculty for Global Health and humanitarian Medicine and Tropical Diseases Courses.
