I am a research assistant in the lab of Dr. Thorsten M. Seyler within Duke University's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. We are interested in investigating factors leading to periprosthetic joint infection after common hip and knee procedures. Past investigations include the sensitivity of D-Dimer a marker for PJI after total knee arthroplasty.
