Dr. Amir Abdallah Mbonde is a vascular neurology fellow at Massachussetts General Hospital in Boston. He completed his neurology residency training at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, USA. My area of research has been in neuroinfectious disease, mainly looking at the clinical epidemiology and outcomes of disease presentations attributable to neurotropic viruses such as Human Immunodeficiency Virus and the West Nile virus. I have strong interests in global neurology including training and mentoring of medical students and post graduate students in sub Saharan Africa.
