Julieta Lara Rodriguez, MD, MPH first year infectious disease fellow at the University of California, San Francisco.
I was born and raised in San Diego and went to UC Irvine for undergrad and San Diego State University for my master's in public health in epidemiology and biostatistics. I then went to Albany, NY to attend Albany Medical College for my medical docotorate and did my internal medicine and pediatrics residency training at UMMS Chan Baystate located in Springfield, MA. I am now currently in my first year of med-peds ID fellowship at UCSF. My infectious disease interests are in Staphylococcus aureus, people who inject drugs, sexually transmitted infections, vulnerable populations, global health, and vaccines.
