Dr. Andrea A. Berry is Associate Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM). She is a board-certified pediatric infectious disease specialist with an interest in malaria immunology and pediatric vaccine trials. She studies the humoral immune response to malaria following natural infection and malaria vaccination. Dr. Berry conducts malaria vaccine trials and challenge studies at the UMSOM Center for Vaccine Development and Global Health (CVD).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Berry has also served as a co-investigator for several COVID-19 research projects including vaccine trials in adults and pediatrics and the COVID-19 Community Research Partnership.
