Dr. Shively is an Infectious Diseases physician at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA, where he serves as Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at Allegheny Valley Hospital, and helps lead expansion of ASP services through the Tele-Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and Outpatient Antimicrobial Stewardship. His research interests include understanding antibiotic utilization and the effective implementation of stewardship interventions in less established settings, including outpatient primary care, community hospitals, and via Tele-Antimicrobial Stewardship.
