My name is Matthew Hesterman and I am researcher at the University of Utah. Our lab focuses on the study of hepatitis D and its potential causative role in the development in Sjogren's syndrome. My research projects have strengthened my interest in the field of infectious disease research that I hope to continue studying while in medical school and beyond.
