Dr. Guzman-Cottrill is a Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Department of Pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University, where she served as Hospital Epidemiologist and Medical Director of Infection Prevention for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital from 2004-2015.
In 2015, Dr. Guzman-Cottrill became Oregon state’s Ebola & Emerging Pathogen Preparedness Medical Director, and currently serves as a Senior Health Advisor on the Oregon Health Authority's COVID-19 Response & Recovery Unit.
Dr. Guzman-Cottrill is a Councilor on the SHEA Board of Trustees, and is also a member of the CDC Healthcare Infection Control Practices Advisory Committee (HICPAC).
