After completing my medical school in India, I moved to USA in pursuit of educational and research opportunities and evidence based medicine. I completed Internal Medicine residency from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas, followed by Chief Residency from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I completed Fellowship in Infections Diseases at Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis, Missouri and currently enrolled in Medical Education Fellowship at WashU. I am passionate about Mycology, Transplant Infectious Disease and MedEd and WashU is a great place for this.
I am also passionate about amplifying the incredible work done by women in Infectious Diseases, addressing disparities in pay and gender bias faced by women in ID. To promote these discussions I have created an online community Women in ID through twitter @Women_in_ID and Facebook.
