Dr. Natasha Schvey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medical and Clinical Psychology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. She is also a Research Collaborator in the Section on Growth and Obesity at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, NIH. Her research focuses broadly on stigma and its impacts on mental and physical health among persons holding minoritized identities. She has published over 75 peer-reviewed empirical studies, chapters, and reviews, and has received research funding for her work from the American Psychological Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
