Mark received his BS degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, an MS degree in Biotechnology, and interned under Dr. Karen Bush where he focused on several aspects of beta-lactam resistance among gram-negative bacilli. Since joining IHMA in 2012 Mark has led many critical projects characterizing molecular mechanisms of resistance while authoring and co-authoring several research abstracts, posters and manuscripts.
