Ayne Adenew, Pharm.D., BCPS, is the Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy Program manager at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Adenew completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the DCVA in 2006 after completing pharmacy school at Howard University. She has been practicing in different areas at the DCVA including Ambulatory care and Acute care and has been in her current role since 2017. Her interests in Infectious disease include PK/PD of antimicrobials, Beta-lactam allergies and Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT).
