Rachael Pellegrino is a 3rd year Internal Medicine resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and plans to pursue a career in Infectious Diseases. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Anthropology at the University of Arkansas, followed by medical school at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. During medical school, she developed an interest in the intersection of infectious diseases and public health and completed an MPH with a concentration in epidemiology and biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
