Mindy Sampson, DO is a hospital epidemiologist at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina and an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University School University School of Medicine. She obtained her degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious diseases at the Universiy of South Florida. She is the Atrium Helath site principal investigator for the NC Coronavirus Variant Sequencing Surveillance Network (CORVASEQ) and has several research initiatives with the Center for Study of Microbial Ecology and Emerging Diseases at Wake forest Universy School of Medicine.
