I am Paulette Pinargote, ID faculty at Lousiana State University Health Shreveport, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Associate Program Director of the ID fellowship. I completed my residency at Brown University Alpert Medical School- Kent Hospital and fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, TX- MD Anderson Cancer Center. My main interests include antimicrobial resistance, Staphylococcal infections (Cefazolin inoculum effect), HIV, Enterococcal infections, CNS infections, infections in the immunocompromised host and antibiotic stewardship.
